How I got started

 I have always had a passion for dogs and all things dog related.   One evening  I was searching the keyword "dog" on eBay and came across a vintage dog tax tag from the early 1900's.  That sparked my interest in learning about tags and the early licensing and taxation of dogs in America an other countries.  Although I find alot of wonderful treasures on eBay I most enjoy going to antique stores to hunt for tags.

About my collection

The largest part of my collection focuses on Kentucky state issued tags and paper licenses.  My current Kentucky run span from the 1950's to the 1980's.  I am hoping to complete this run by filling the holes and obtaining tags from the first and last year of issue.  I also have a second Kentucky collection and am trying to find one tag from every county that issued a tag.
